Great desk but don&t trust the auto stop feature!

The desk and legs are fantastic they&re solid quality, I was worried at first about getting the chip board especially in this size but the quality is solid. I think I will eventually purchase something solid wood but I have no doubt I can keep these legs forever. The setup was straight forward but I wouldn&t do it alone if you can avoid it, having an extra pair of hands was almost necessary.
I&m taking off one star because I did have an issue where I was trying to put a shelf under the desk and I was trying to rely on the "auto stop" feature to see where the desk should stop but the desk did not stop until it was almost tipped over. The left leg was lower than the right leg and this made it so I couldn&t raise the desk to get it off of the shelf. I guess when it&s not level it tries to bring one side down before it will go up but the right side couldn&t go down since it was sitting on the shelf and as such it wouldn&t raise anymore. I nearly had a heart attack since I had some very expensive gear on my desk. I had to have someone help me lift the desk so we could get the shelf out.
However aside from that everything has been good, the legs don&t show any issues with raising and lowering. And everything feels sturdy.

I&m sorry that you had to go through this situation, and I&m glad that expensive items on the desk are okay. Let me explain a bit: our collision avoidance feature has sensitivity settings. You can increase the sensitivity for better collision prevention. However, the principle of collision avoidance settings for all height-adjustable desks is based on the tilt of the gyroscope integrated into the control box. This means the gyroscope needs to lose its horizontal position to trigger the collision avoidance function.
I chose white base with solid wood top. It competes with desk costs twice as much.
Some tips: - Don& t buy extra organizer accessary, it is included. - Don&t buy keyboard tray, adjust table height for keyboard.
A suggestion: the solid wood top only has half the mounting holes predrilled and setup guide does not include drill bit size. Please fix these bugs

Solid desk frame with a couple of very minor issues
on November 17, 2023

I bought the desk frame individually and sourced the top elsewhere. But the desk was very nice! The legs were constructed very solidly. My dad who helped me put it together and was a mechanical engineer all his life said that he was very impressed with it.
There were a couple of minor issues, though. If I tightened the screws used for extending the frame, the frame wouldn&t sit flat on the top when I was screwing it in. So I didn&t tighten them all the way. And since the frame got screwed into the desk top, it wasn&t a big deal. Still feels solid. The other weird thing I noticed is that there&s a USB port on the side of the control pad. I couldn&t see any instructions about it, so I assumed it was for charging my phone. But when I plugged in my phone, it alternated from regular and fast charging multiple times every second. I doubt that&s good for a phone battery, so I don&t use that USB. But I didn&t buy the desk for it&s USB port, so a pretty minor issue.
There isn&t much for me to say except that I am very satisfied with this desk. My previous desk was too small and I wasn&t able to stand. Being stuck sitting all day while working from home isn&t ideal and the few opportunities to move around weren&t enough. Overall, this desk is so much larger that I can fit everything on top of the desk with room to spare and I can stand! Awesome desk, great quality, looking forward to years of use.
Fantastic desk! Super sturdy and works perfectly for my daily tasks.
