It works exactly like every other motorized standing desk, but this one is taller

In a world where all motorized variable height desks are basically all identical, this one is at least a few inches taller than the others. Honestly, I&ve used many of these things at various offices over the last decade, and they are all so similar it&s pointless to quibble over minutia. They&re all fine. They all have a button that goes up, and a button that goes down. They all have a way to remember your preferred height settings. They all have various cable management solutions and power outlets that attach to the top. They&re all the same. They&re all perfectly fine.
However, I&m a very tall person. This is the only desk I&ve used that actually gets high enough for me to stand at. Now that&s at least something Flexispot does that makes it different.

Nice standup desk

Fairly good instructions but the could be improved upon to make it a little easier. Did not receive the order all the same time but once we got everything the desk seems sturdy. The white ergo top is really nice and smooth. I think I will like it but time will tell.

I&m sorry, but currently, most of our desk models cannot be shipped together in one package. They are typically shipped in two separate packages - one for the desktop and the other for the frame. This approach is due to weight restrictions imposed by the shipping carriers. Shipping them together in one package would result in significantly higher shipping costs and increase the risk of damage during transit.

It was a little bit of a pain to put together but I just watched a video on YouTube and voila. The desk is amazing and very sturdy. Love it and would recommend to friends.

Great desk but don&t trust the auto stop feature!

The desk and legs are fantastic they&re solid quality, I was worried at first about getting the chip board especially in this size but the quality is solid. I think I will eventually purchase something solid wood but I have no doubt I can keep these legs forever. The setup was straight forward but I wouldn&t do it alone if you can avoid it, having an extra pair of hands was almost necessary.
I&m taking off one star because I did have an issue where I was trying to put a shelf under the desk and I was trying to rely on the "auto stop" feature to see where the desk should stop but the desk did not stop until it was almost tipped over. The left leg was lower than the right leg and this made it so I couldn&t raise the desk to get it off of the shelf. I guess when it&s not level it tries to bring one side down before it will go up but the right side couldn&t go down since it was sitting on the shelf and as such it wouldn&t raise anymore. I nearly had a heart attack since I had some very expensive gear on my desk. I had to have someone help me lift the desk so we could get the shelf out.
However aside from that everything has been good, the legs don&t show any issues with raising and lowering. And everything feels sturdy.

I&m sorry that you had to go through this situation, and I&m glad that expensive items on the desk are okay. Let me explain a bit: our collision avoidance feature has sensitivity settings. You can increase the sensitivity for better collision prevention. However, the principle of collision avoidance settings for all height-adjustable desks is based on the tilt of the gyroscope integrated into the control box. This means the gyroscope needs to lose its horizontal position to trigger the collision avoidance function.

The instructions were pretty clear

The instructions were pretty clear and it was easy to assemble. It would have been helpful to have some stickers on the parts and the tabletop to indicate the front of the desk to eliminate any mistakes in assembly.
The table itself is very nice and feels sturdy. It moves up and down easily and quietly. I love using it so far.

Great desk. The instructions could be a little clearer. And need instructions on the controls as to what does what other than up and down. But overall very happy. Needed a desk that was higher for my tall husband. This works perfectly, especially when paired with his Herman Miller Aeron chair

Bad Installation Process

Table top and legs work and look good.
Installation could be much better. Table top should have threaded inserts instead of tiny pilot holes. The pilot holes didn&t even line up correctly with the base. There were no pilot holes drilled for the controller or cable management tray.
I would have purchased another Vari desk had I know the installation process is this poor with Flexispot desks.

Great materials, subpar assembly

Desk is very solid, remarkable motor and materials quality. Docking a star for missing holes in the center of the desk top for the cross-beam connection, was missing a rubber washer for one of the attachment points, and the instructions weren&t very clear that a drill is necessary for the cable tray and any other attachments. Would&ve been nice to know the drill bit size required, how deep the holes should go, etc.
