Assembly was not fun
on September 15, 2023
Posted by: Frances G.
The desk is nice looking -- I really enjoy the rounded edges of the desktop.
Where I find flaws is in the instructions that came with the desk. It was quite confusing to read through and to make matters worse, the desktop did not come with all the guide holes it was supposed to so there was a lot of manual drilling into wood that took lots of elbow grease and time. Because of that, the desktop is not flat. I think the only way to fix that is to get the screws deeper into the wood.
Lastly, I really don&t like the screw-in bases on the desk feet. While moving the desk they come unscrewed and I have to awkwardly screw them back in often. This also creates an uneven desktop. My desk is wobbly and I can&t figure out why. It&s super frustrating to have an uneven wobbly desk. I wish I could use it after assembly but there is more work to be done.

I&m sorry to hear about your experience, and based on your description, I think I&ve identified the issue. The "screw-in basements" you mentioned are actually leveling knobs. You need to tighten them to achieve a stable desk surface. Otherwise, the four contact points between the desk and the floor may not be level.

Overall, it is a great table. It doesn&t shake even on the tallest feature. It is sturdy, and fast and I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

great deal for the cost! Looks great, the smallest size that i got is still a great size. There is a bit of wobble on my monitory if i type aggressively on my laptop which is why i deducted one star.

Thank you for your comment and feedback!
The E2, as our entry-level standing desk, indeed offers great value for its performance. We have optimized the frame structure to minimize wobbling under normal use, but in extreme situations like aggressive typing, some slight wobbling may still occur. If you&re looking for a more stable desk in the future, our E7 and E7 Pro models are excellent choices. They are designed to be exceptionally sturdy and provide a stable working environment.
If you&re considering an upgrade or have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to ramzes@flexispot.com. We would be happy to assist you and provide you with exclusive repeat customer coupons. Thank you for your support!

Perfect desk for me
on September 12, 2023

The desk is very stable. It fits in a small alcove nicely. I&ve only used it for a few weeks but its just what I wanted. It does take two people to put it together but it was easily done. I bought the desk on the recommendation of two people who have used the F1 models for over a year.

It seems like you&ve got yourself a desk that&s not only stable but fits perfectly in your alcove – it&s like a match made in furniture heaven! And kudos to you for acing the assembly teamwork challenge. If you ever decide to form an assembly squad, don&t forget to recruit your trusty desk. Who knows, it might become the DIY champion of your home or office!

Upon assembling and using the standing desk for the first time yesterday, I discovered a critical issue with its functionality. The up and down buttons, which are essential for adjusting the desk height, are not working correctly. Specifically, when I attempt to raise the desk to a higher level using the up button, it does the opposite – the desk lowers instead. This malfunction renders the desk unusable for its intended purpose, as it is unable to reach the desired height for ergonomic and comfort reasons.
