E7 Pro is good; solid wood texture desktop a disappointment

I had an E7 Plus (great desk, but the support design didn&t quite fit my needs...see my review for that) and got the E7 Pro instead. The E7 Pro is not quite as stable as the E7 Plus, but still pretty good. I&m happy with it. It seems well built. The included cable management tray is nice, although I&m concerned that it will come loose over time due to the design. There are just 3 screws in a row on a thin piece across the top to attach it to the desk. If they had made the top part that attaches to the desk a little wider and had two rows of screws, I think it would be a lot more durable.
I also ordered a solid wood texture desktop. There&s no separate listing to review that, but it&s a disappointment. The laminate is super cheap and scratches, scuffs, and chips easily. I have a non-adjustable computer desk that I bought used over 20 years ago. It has a very durable laminate finish that still looks great - no chips, dents, etc., so durable laminate finishes are possible. I don&t why FlexiSpot uses such a cheap finish.

Amazing product and very happy with how it fits, its ease of assembly, and how fast the shipping was. The only thing is that it did come with minor scuffing on the supporting bar underneath the desk.

This is one of those purchases I wished I did a long time ago. The Pro leg set is much sturdier than I thought it would be and the motors are super smooth rising my work surface to mid-chest height at the push of a pre-programmed button. Great to get out the chair!
