Recently purchased. Terrific product. Easy to use and clean. Do have a suggestion however: Have you ever thought of adding measurement markings to the bowls So when you need a 8 ounces or some other specific amount, this would be a very helpful feature to have. Would appreciate a reply.
I bought this last year for my upcoming Xmas Gift, and i absolutely love it!. such a great machine to do all kinds of wonderful recipes. Can't wait to make some yummy stuff.
I've only used it a few times, but I'm not impressed, especially with it's chopping. I threw in half a red onion and still came out with huge pieces. Then the next day I wanted to make scrambled eggs, I threw in the onion, cherry tomatoes and eggs and milk. The cherry tomatoes weren't chopped, only came out as big pieces clumped together. I can only imagine if I threw in parts of ham steak like it said.... I think the blades are too big, the reason I bought this is because I already have a big blender and figured the Magic Bullet, being smaller, would nicely chop, but the blades on the Magic Bullet are as big as on the big blender! I could literally chop the onion faster than better than the Magic Bullet.... I bought this to make a paste out of various spices, garlic, olive oil etc. But I don't think it will work. Granted I've only had it a few days...but, first impressions....nah. I'm on the verge of returning it...
I have been using this for many years, first for myself and now it has been used as a puree blender for my Mom who has ALZ and cannot eat foods that are not pureed. It is awesome for blending a small amount of anything for smoothies or whatever. The only negative thing is that I love the flat blade over the cross blade which is not included in the 11 piece set and I had to separately order. I still have my original Magic Bullet from many years ago, used almost every day , and the only thing I replaced were the blades(easy to find and order). I gave this one away to a friend who needed it for her mother with issues in eating, and ordered this new one. For things you don't need a large blender for to chop up , this is handy and affordable and saves time and space. Easy to clean too.
I have had two previous sets of the expanded versions of the magic bullet with additional tools and containers. My first one I passed on to a friend when I bought a new one with a blender like container. My second one which I had used for every meal for almost two years because of surgeries on my lower jaw, I recently gave to a friend whose husband can only swallow pureed food. She uses it all the time and welcomes all the features. So, for myself I recently bought the "original magic bullet." I am very glad I did and got it just in time as sadly I have developed more problems with my jaw. The Magic Bullet is my life saver. I am glad that it is so easy to use and so versatile.
