This was my second Magic Bullet purchase because I realized how devastated I'd be if my first one stopped working. I drink Bulletproof coffee (my version of it,) and I know you don't like us to whiz up hot stuff...but I do...and I've learned: no more than 30 seconds, and remove the lid immediately (so pressure doesn't build.) I also, of course, like to whip up smoothies with frozen fruit and non-dairy milks. Love my Magic Bullet.
Bought this for my son at college so he could save money making healthy smoothies to take to class. I have owned 2, (one for house one for cottage) and knew it would be great for him. He loves it
My husband bought me the Magic Bullet for Christmas I have used it about 5 times this is the second one I have owned they both just stop working we spend alot of money to use this for a short time and when you call them they say they are sorry they can not help me after being on the line for over 30 min
Have never used for anything but smoothies made from milk, ice cream, instant breakfast, and half a soft banana cut in small pieces. Started leaking fluid down through the motor each time I used it.
I had a magic bullet several years ago and used it daily, no problem. I just ordered a new one and it won't blend my frozen smoothie mixes. I don't know if the frozen stuff is too difficult to blend, I am adding plenty of liquid. I ended up throwing away my nutribullet last year because it leaked terribly and was more trouble than it's worth. Huge David Wolfe fan bit afraid this endorsement was misleading.
BUYER BEWARE - cheap quality components that do not last! Over the course of a year I replaced the Top Gear, Cross Blade, and Mug. It's plain and simply a badly made and manufactured blender.
I got my Magic Bullet about a year ago. It was pretty good, but not great when I put frozen fruit in the cup which took a really long time to blend. Recently, I went to make a smoothie and it didn't seem to be blending well at all. I took the cup off the base, and there where shards of black rubber all over the unit. I cleaned it up and tried again - same thing. It seems like the unit was shredding the little rubber nubs that cause the blades to turn. Since the only thing I used the Magic Bullet for was smoothies, I really expected it to last a lot longer than it did.
