I have owned 4 magic bullets in the past 5 years. I am very pleased with the functions of the magic bullet and enjoyed using it to make smoothies. I am disappointed with the longevity of these blenders. We normally get around a year out of each blender before they stop working completely. This is deterring me from ever buying another magic bullet. Although I enjoy the use while they are functioning I cannot continue to pour dollars into a device that is not reliable.
I have always loved the Magic Bullet, this is my second one. The first one lasted me over 5 years and due to broken parts I had to order a new one. One thing that was disappointing is, when it first came out many more parts and accessories where part of the purchase. They have reduced it to a few now.
So nice! So convenient and easy to use/clean! Perfect for all kinds of smoothies and I’ve been making bulletproof coffee in it, delicious. Hope it doesn’t break soon, though!
I used it per instructions. It was really fantastic. But unfortunately the motor seized up after about 5 months. The accessories are still intact, which will still come in useful. I will buy a new one eventually, just a bit disappointed that i have to do so.
My daughter had requested a "Bullet" for Christmas. I researched and found multiple "bullet"s available. I decided on the "original" bullet. She has just now reported that she loves her "NutriBullet"! It was an excellent choice.
The problem exists when the seal gives way and liquid is expelled. You must be very, very careful not to over fill the container. This is sometimes hard to do when mixing liquid with solids like vegetable pieces. In my experience, this is going to happen sometime to most users. The problem is a design flaw that drains any liquid that overflows right on through the electrics, motor and all. There is no way to clean this out and so you eventually get a bacterial quagmire that smells to high heaven. They should have allowed for some other drainage path that could be easily cleaned up. As it is, my bullet turned into bacterial mush after about 6 months. I know it was my fault for letting the seal fail, but, as I said, it is going to happen sooner or later to every user. Please re-design the overflow system. I won't buy a new Nutri Bullet, love it though I did, until this basic design flaw is corrected. At that point, I would recommend the Nutri Bullet to others, but until then, I cannot.
