This was our third Magic Bullet. We have had two previously that stopped working after a few years but we really got a lot of use out of them. We bought one a couple of months ago and after one month of using it, our magic bullet started to smoke and stopped working.
I bought this last year October 2019 and already broke. The coupling on the base of the motor got destroyed and destroyed the coupling on the blade part. This is the second bullet I buy. The first one had the same issue. I thought it was an isolated event but it seems these items cannot handle frozen fuits. Both items were used solely for the making of fruit smoothies. I am disappointed and will not be purchasing any of these items again. It is a waste of money.
I have been using a magic bullet for over 10 years. The problem I have with every single magic bullet is they don’t always work due to a loose wire in the cord. I have to manipulate the cord many times in order for it to work. Very frustrating especially when I’m in a hurry. I’m going to try the nutri bullet in the hopes that won’t happen. Has anyone else had this issue???
The container is the most unstable idiotic little thing. Do the designers not realise that you need a flat surface in order for something to stand upright?
Bought the Magic bullet 6 month ago. I have used it only 3 times to make smoothies. Today Nov 6 2020 I took it out to make another smoothie and the motor started smoking and a hard burning plastic smell came out of the unit. I hope that warranty can do something with this unit.
I had to replace the blade unit and got the heavy duty blade unit. The teeth on this new unit were immediately chewed up by the base motor unit. The company replaced the unit free of charge and the second time I used it both the teeth on the base motor unit and the blade unit disintegrated. I was told that I need to replace both when the base unit is back in stock. It is too bad this unit does not last more than a couple times. When it works, it is great. But hard to justify spending money replacing a product that is of defective design.
