Not as good as the original

Can anyone tell me why the first magic bullet we bought 6 yrs ago lasted us 4-5 yrs and since the original one died we have replaced it with 3 others that only last 8 or 9 months and need replacing. Think we will give up on this brand. Very useful when it works.

It worked less than 2 months

I am very disappointed. I got it just to help me with my baby's food. When I got I wasn't really happy with it because took long to get the food smoothie. I decided to return it to the store, but had loose the receipt. Then, less than 2 months one of the mixer part broke, but I continued using, so 1 month later the big part that holds the cup broke, too. I'm so frustrated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacement parts?

On my second unit. 1st unit is still working but needs a replacement drive impeller for the base. I am wondering if the replacement part is available for purchase?
