Nice sound, but not user friendly and way to many malfunctions after short time. One bud getting quieter than the other, both being weirdly quiet sometimes. I had to do a lot of resets. Will not buy again.
I've had these for about 8 months. Started off strong but had been on the decline ever since. Settings will change as I'm walking without me touching my earbuds, it's even hung up on calls while I'm talking. Whenever I'm on a call, people tell me I sound like I'm really far away and people walking past me are louder than I am. Wanted to love them but features are lacking

Great one's, clear sound, enough loud, good bass, great battery, just one con, they almost fall out from ear after some time and while speaking, try to change the gums, gonna try again, but anyway, great earbuds. Happy with purchase.
Had an earlier pair that worked great but accidentally fell into water so a new set was ordered. Same model but the Ambient Aware is driving me crazy. I am 90% a mono ear piece and as soon as I step outside it is constantly trying to activate Ambient Aware and all it does is activate my Bixby which I do not use. I turn it off in the app and it turns itself back on. The constant beeping as it is flipping back and forth turning itself on and off is frustrating. It will tell me several times that Ambient Aware is on an then off, then back on and off. According to thousands of complaints on the web JBL is VERY aware of this issue and it affects multiple models but they refuse to correct the firmware, my software for the earbuds is v6.7.0 and v2.0.2 for the case. Why does it even turn on in mono mode? This issues has changed my recommendation for this brand.
These earbuds work very well, the ambient aware and noise canceling are very effective and easy to switch between with the right settings chosen for the earbuds. I haven't used talk thru, so I cannot comment on that unfortunately. They have a setting to select whether they are being used for audio or video, and I have yet to have any audio desync issues; or if I did they were such a minor issue to fix I completely forgot about them. Now, the earbuds allow you to tap them for some basic controls, standard fare, but these ones are apparently sensitive to light. When used outside, it seems that sunlight or the wind can activate the gesture controls. Usually it only makes the noise that alerts you to the fact you attempted to use the feature, but occasionally it will actually trigger the gesture control and switch between sound modes. It is extremely annoying to keep hearing the "beep" because I want to use them outside while walking or doing yard work. I found a small post Reddit about people with similar issues, so I don't believe it's limited to my earbuds alone. I find that they fit in the ear well and don't cause discomcort; but occasionally when I smile it can dislodge the earbuds from their stable position. It's easy to tell when it happens, and they usually don't fall out, but it does happen to me at least. I did go through the setup to make it fit well, but I am willing to accept the possibility I messed it up; so your mileage may vary. The battery is not something I've ever had an issue with—and I only occasionally plug the thing in—but I don't usually need to use the earbuds for anything longer than an hour or two.
Overall, I am very happy with the product, though be weary if you want a pair for use outside; at least in sunlight.
