It seems very stiff and heavier than I expected. The size is nice. I still cannot get the auto threader to work....tried and tried and tried

Broken.

It has failed, tho I used it several years. It only ran backwards and the manual's suggestions didn't work. A youtube video about sewing machine repairs suggested this often happened when the machine was set on the backwards part of a buttonhole stitch. Indeed, I moved the stitch setting fron straight stitch, #2, to zigzag, #3, and it worked for a couple hrs then stopped working again. [Buttonhole setting was #1]

I only started using it a month or two ago. It's hard for me to get use to. I had a Kenmore for over 46 years and I had no problem with it because all the sewing machines at that time were set up all the same. This one is hard to get the thread thru the little arm that goes up and down with the needle. It doesn't come up past the housing to be able to put the thread thru. Also, the bobbin set up, it's not as easy to use as it shows. I do like the built in needle threader. It works great. It's a nice quiet machine. I repair clothes, make clothes or other little things. Basically, it's just getting use to a new machine after using only one in 46 years. This is a nice machine to start out on.

It gets the job done but could be better

Light Weight sewing machine. Great for taking to locations. I don’t like the storage drawer. It pulls off sideways and because of this it’s useless. All of my other machines the drawer opens by folding down. Why make a machine good for travel and give it such a crappy storage drawer?

Since I haven't used a sewing machine in years this was really a treat. My son bought it for me and now I am sewing projects. I love how you can call the help line and receive personal attention. I have used this several times.
I wish that they had an information video on u tube. I have found several but they were not for my machine. I really would have loved one.

Love this sewing machine

Fast and easy to use. Didn't need much instruction, labeling on machine shows where to go and how to do threading, stitching, bobbin loading. Tried a few special stitches, what an easy enjoyable experience! I would recommend this machine to beginner or experienced seamstress.
I would recommend this to a friend!
