Great Sewing Machine!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product.
I had an old model Singer which was very heavy and just could not be repaired, so now I have the Brother CS7000X. I typically just do sewing repairs and small projects. This is the sewing machine of all sewing machines, I absolutely love this sewing machine, its very easy and simple to use. Its quiet and light, I can move it easily from my closet to the table and I love all the accessories. It has 70 built-in stitching with a stitching chart display, I'm excited to use some of the decorative stitching on my new projects. It has an LCD display and I really like that it has the wide table with feet and a hard case for easy transport. There are so many features to this machine, what a great sewing machine, I'm enjoying the discovery of all the features. This is also the sewing machine I will train my granddaughter to use on her first projects, that's how simple it is to use. The machine is of good quality. I would definitely recommend the Brother CS7000X and I would definitely purchase this sewing machine over any other.

Would not buy again.

Machine bought to use while visiting relative. Makes a good, reliable stitch. Light weight, can carry with ease. The automatic threader will thread off & on. The extended table, is not level. Very inexpensive grade of plastic used. I imagine I am spoiled by my regular machines but, for the cost, expected a bit more sturdiness in the actual machine. I would nit suggest sewing anything other than 2 fabrics together. Definitely would need feel comfortable using the walking foot to quilt the sandwich together.

Everything you need

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Brother CS7000X is a great sewing machine for even novice sewers and it comes with everything need right out of the box. The easy thread needle is a must, it makes threading the needle a breeze.
Instructions are easy to follow and thorough enough for a beginner. The LCD display is easy to read and comes with everything needed for all types of sewing projects and fabrics. The 70 preprogrammed stitches are really all you need for any fabric/project.
Plus this machine is really quiet and lightweight, which are great bonus features.

Great starter machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great starter machine. This is my first machine. I've successfully created many pieces with it.
This machine is so easy to thread once you get the hang of it. At first, you have to take your time and get to know the machine, but I can fill a bobbin in 60 seconds and thread this baby up in 10 seconds.
-Automatic buttonhole maker is a breeze! Fun too.
-Great value for your money. This machine will last you for many many projects, beginner and intermediate, if you treat it
-Lightweight
-Push button start/stop/reverse & speed is so easy, I will never be using a pedal again.

This is the worst sewing machine I've ever owned. It's a cheap piece of junk. Of course, you get what you pay for. Having come off my sturdy, wonderful Bernina to this, I was in shock at the poor quality. The LCD display should be lit as it's practically impossible to see anything. Threading is a chore, and the automatic threader rarely works and is more trouble than it's worth. Installing the walking foot was a nightmare as there were too many things to dismantle. My Bernina walking foot just snapped on. I don't have very large hands, but there is very little working space, and my hands barely had any room. I plan to donate this foreign made junk and purchase another Bernina. You can't beat Swiss workmanship. Brother, you need to step up your game and produce quality.

Too Many Instructions

This was my first Brother sewing machine I had purchased. The screwdriver and screw to remove the needle was impossible to do. The instruction booklet was much too involved with the different languages and the quick guide was too busy to follow all the numbered areas to go through. I decided to return this product and buy from a company that I have a sewing machine for many years and have always appreciated the instruction booklets they came with. This machine is not for everyone. Thank you in advance.
