It is a very bad sewing machine. Overly complicated. Never works in one go. The thread either keeps coming out of the needle or the bobbin. I’ve changed threads, needles piled the machine even though it is fairly new and I use it only for altering stuff. I bought it for the 5-6 times I need to use in a year. It has been a nightmare and I dread thinking of this sewing machine. I end up stitching/altering by hand which Ofcourse takes forever. I am so disappointed

Have the bobbin cover attached rather than a separate piece and have the stitches easier to switch/change. Still have not figured out how to switch to the design/embroidery stitches on this machine.

my daughter loves this sewing machine!

My daughter is 8 years old and was interested in learning to sew clothes for her dolls. We bought this Brother sewing machine and it is such an excellent machine. Perfect for beginners! Easy-to-follow guides online and instructions. My daughter is a natural with it and calls her machine "Bro" for short. We've already made a couple of projects with the sewing group at our local library. It's super easy to use and not intimidating for me ( I have avoided sewing my whole life until now) and we know this Bro will last my daughter a very long time. Thank you! Great machine.

Good basic machine

I am a casual sewer I do not make my own clothing. I just do basic mending and hemming. However I will say this sewing machine is very very easy to use. The dials are clear and concise. My only issue is when you take the pressure off your foot, the needle does not plunge back into the fabric. That's a very nice to have as it was on my last sewing machine

This sewing machine is simple and straightforward, nothing computerized; it is easy to use and has specific instructions included for something that .ight need clarification. I've used the Brother sewing machine for a few months and its meeting expectations. The only thing that I would change would be to have a stronger light. Oherwise I'm very happy with the machine.
