It’s not heavy duty I try to sew over elastic and it won’t sew so stressful I need to return it and buy the brand brother better

This machine only lasted me 6 mos. motor seized up and it just had issues. I doubt I will be buying a Singer again.

I would give this 0 stars if I could, brand new and has never worked. What it has done is completely destroy materials, of course after you’ve cut them and now don’t have enough to recut everything thing. First, the pressure on the foot wouldn’t adjust, then the teeth refused to budge meaning you could only sew in a straight line. Finally after close to an hour, the controls decided to work. Great, now I can get somewhere. Tested it on scraps, ok seems to be working fine. Cut a replacement for the destroyed piece, sit down at the machine and now it’s just chewing up the fabric and not stitching at all! Nothing changed, nothing was moved yet in the 10 minutes it took to cut and pin a section of fabric it suddenly decided to stop working again. Bought this in the beginning of August, but due to health issues was not able to use until now, meaning I’m out with the money and stuck with a piece of junk.

I love mine already and I've only had it about 6 weeks. It is so easy to learn on and as a novice sewer, I'm gaining more and more confidence every time I work with it. Great machine at a great price!.
