I've had my machine six months and I really enjoy sewing with it. It sews nicely, easy to use and very speedy. My only "gripe" would be that I struggle to hold it back when trying to sew slowly. Otherwise it has been great value for money and a really good machine

I would give this 0 stars if I could, brand new and has never worked. What it has done is completely destroy materials, of course after you’ve cut them and now don’t have enough to recut everything thing. First, the pressure on the foot wouldn’t adjust, then the teeth refused to budge meaning you could only sew in a straight line. Finally after close to an hour, the controls decided to work. Great, now I can get somewhere. Tested it on scraps, ok seems to be working fine. Cut a replacement for the destroyed piece, sit down at the machine and now it’s just chewing up the fabric and not stitching at all! Nothing changed, nothing was moved yet in the 10 minutes it took to cut and pin a section of fabric it suddenly decided to stop working again. Bought this in the beginning of August, but due to health issues was not able to use until now, meaning I’m out with the money and stuck with a piece of junk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sewing is so easy with this machine

I used my mother's very old singer sewing machine for 20+ years after she owned it for probably 30+ years. When it was time for a new one, I only wanted a Singer. I wanted a machine that had the basics, and purchased this one. It sews effortlessly, handles denim and other thick fabrics great, and has so many features for the price.
