I bought this as second machine as needed something that can sew a little more heavy duty. I got that. I am having difficulty with the buttonhole maker but hope to figure it out real soon. For the price a great buy.

Great heavy duty machine

I bought this machine as a second machine. I wanted a basic machine that was heavy enough to tackle most any job. I have recently been making rope bowls with it and have found it to be excellent. My one complaint is that the needle threader doesn't seem to work. It pushes the needle forward instead of threading it . I will likely ask about this next time I am down at the dealers.

Great heavy duty

Works excellent for sewing heavy material. Make sure you change the needle after sewing heavy weight materials. Follow the threading instructions. I had to sew a life size doll in burlap. The machine held well. Only needed pressured air cleaning. Is a little loud as expected due to its motor. Very fast. I recommended it. My needle threader broke but that was my fault.

My favorite thing about tis machine

I love the way this machine sews. My favorite thing is the button hole maker. I have never used a machine that make a button hole as easy as this one. I wish I had bought this machine ages ago. Saves lots of time and frustration when making button holes.

I like my machine -- heavy duty, simple to use -- however, it tends to catch thread under the material, and I cannot figure out why.

Great things come in brown paper

I create period costumes for friends, family and for online sales. I use everything from plain cotton muslin to upholstery fabric and everything in between. This machine has an all metal interior and is made to go go go. It is simple but a hard worker! I highly recommend if you do not ned all that fancy stuff and just want a solid machine.
