Good machine

I bought this machine a while back. I've had a few issues with the machine. But, I was able to manage. One if the issues I have with it is the led light. I can only sew for short periods of time before my eyes begin to hurt from the light. It would be nice if there was a change out soft light to replace the led light. The other is I have trouble getting the clear lid off to change the small bobin. Aside from those two issues, the machine does a good job working on projects.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just received my new Singer 4423 sewing machine. only used for about 1 hour so hard to give 5 stars yet. the reason for the 4 star review is that I’m experiencing issues with tension or timing. threads bunch up in bobbing case and i have to stop, clear out thread and re-thread machine. once I finish my project and see weather or not there. is an issue with timing I could give a better review. I have high hopes to love it so time will tell.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm a beginner, but needed a machine that had enough power to sew denim. Right out of the box, this machine did great. I changed the needle, then the machine started clattering and sounding terrible. I finally settled down and read the instructions on threading the needle, I found mistakes ,and corrected them. The machine started working great and no clatter.
I would recommend this to a friend!
