Great Product and Well Designed

It's a wonderful product; goes into the shower, arms will raise for easy transfer. My son who is PT Doctor helped me choose a product for my wife and she loves it. We just use folding pads to help cushion the seat as she has lost muscle tone. Works great. I hope that this review helps.

I like all of the features of this chair, except for the fact that it is too narrow. I would like to purchase another one, if they make one about 2 inches wider, to fit over my commode

Exceeded expectations !

The handle is great for caregiver; the seat is comfortable for the user; the arms retract which is essential; the individual wheel locks stop wheel, as well as caster movement, so one can lock one wheel instead of all 4 in many uses; height adjustment allows for over- toilet use, or lower, for feet to touch floor; the wheel locks are rocker type so can be operated on & off by foot. In short, whoever designed this shower chair nailed it in all ways. I got the blue shade for my paralyzed wife and with the big wheels it rolls easily over carpet. Of all the medical items we've acquired, this is the best. Nothing to dislike about it.

Great chair. Showering again!

Am disabled and in wheelchair and until this chair could only take sponge baths. Been using this for a month, taking showers every day, as well. As placing it over the toilet to poop. Only downside are the wheel size which forces me to be pushed into place instead of pushing myself. Other than that, for me this is a truly blessed device (and I'm an agnostic!)

Commode Wheelchair

It was easy to assemble and is sturdier than the chair we were using. However it does NOT fit over the commode. We'll keep it as a shower chair for my mother, but I'm very disappointed that we won't be able to use it as a toilet aid. Be sure to check your measurements before ordering!

So I just recently became paralyzed and I needed a chair that would get me through my hallways but my wheelchair is a 24in chair.

HOMCOM Accessibility Commode

The hinge /clamp on the back of the seat is inadequate. When weight is placed towards the front, the seat raise up tilting the patient forward. Very dangerous for dementia patients
The commode bucket is too shallow.
Care has to be taken during removal to avoid spillage.
