BRILLIANT DESK

Bought for daughter for Xmas. Brilliant product. All pieces and screws numbered which made it so easy when building. My husband and I built it together as two pairs of hands make it much easier. Fits beautifully into daughters room and I love how it can be rotated when we need that extra bit of room for sleepovers.

Very smart design

I needed a flexible desk because I didn't know how much room I'd have in my new home for a desk, I love the ability to fold the bookshelves in or have them out at any angle. The desk is maybe a tad narrow so not really suitable for multiple screens (like I have!). The surfaces feel reasonable quality, they don't seem to scratch easily and I don't think they'll get worn like some of the old paper-coated flat packs did. Assembly took a while because I did it in my own, sometimes you need to hold modules at difficult angles to fix them together.

I have been using this table for a week now and I am glad I bought this one. I placed it in one corner of my room and has saved me a lot of space. The built in shelves is a great addition.

Ordered the desk a few days ago and it arrived a week ahead of its estimate- nice surprise. The assembly booklet does not contain written instructions, only pictures. However, the design of the desk is straightforward and all of the hardware was packaged and labeled neatly. I assembled it alone in about an hour. It had a factory smell upon opening but that dissipated in a few hours. It arrived in fair condition with only two small cosmetic spots I've noticed, but for my needs that won't matter. The maple color is pleasant and the surfaces easily wiped clean. It is a cheap pressed particle board but sturdy for its needs. It's a good purchase for kids, students, people who don't need a heavy duty work surface, and those like me who need to save space.The rotating arm does not have a built-in locking mechanism so the desktop can still move somewhat after construction if pushed, but it hasn't been an issue so far and makes the desk easy to swing into a compact shape.Overall it's a cute, practical purchase for the money. Very happy with it.

HINT: Pieces on directions are not to scale.

Outside packaging arrived damaged but it was well packaged on the inside. It took less than hour with 2 people. We figured out the drawings are not to scale. For example, some pieces in the directions were squares but in fact thin rectangles. Also directions are very compressed and small to read. Just follow the numbers and ignore the shape in the drawings. It's tough for visual people. However, those were minor hurdles for us. The pieces are heavy compressed wood. Very sturdy.

I love this, excellent functional table. I actually ordered 2 tables, this one and the other one is the homcom L shape rotating table, this is better than the other one, as this is 360, it has its swivel to rotate and connect to the 2nd table. Love it
