Terrible

Has not done a very good job protecting my phone. Under the case, it has scratches and dings from dirt working its way past the case and messing up the phone. Mind you that has just turned 2months old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Galaxy S22 Ultra Case Defender Series Pro

I have had a Defender Series Pro on my last three phones. My phone has been dropped from heights of 8-10ft on concrete, gravel, and grass and had nary a scratch. Most recently, the Defender cover fell into a firepit of glowing red-orange mesquite coals. It stayed in the coals about 10 seconds before it could be removed, and I rinsed it and wiped if off to check for damage. The is a little discoloration and a few pits the coals melted into, but overall, the cover still snaps onto my phone. Worn, but still works. Good job folks!!!

I purchased this defender case for my new s22 and only purchased the blue option because black was sold out and the blue wasnt what it looked like in the picture the color appears very dated

Well worth the money!

top quality product (lacks updated camera cutout)

i have donned my phones exclusively in defender pros for years. imao no other case has ever come close in terms of quality or protection. (and i have tried most of the major rivals).
i wish the camera cutout was tailored specifically to the s22 ultra instead of using cutouts designed for previous years models with much different camera arrays. i worry that there's too much space around the cameras.
the defender pro has saved my note 20 ultra so many times, including two awful drops onto an unforgiving uneven brick floor with an unsated appetite for electronic displays. thanks to otterbox i have sustained zero damage to date.

Solid protection but creaking sound

This case has great grip and feels very protective for the phone. It's exactly what I needed. This would be 5 stars but out of the box the plastic snaps that hold the two pieces together aren't very tight. What I mean is there is flex enough that holding it certain ways will give a creaky sound. Since there is some play in the two pieces. The phone still feels secured but I don't like the plastic creaking sound. Kinda makes it feel cheap even though it's not. It's not a deal breaker but it bugs me. Maybe my snap pieces were not manufactured correct.
