Quality case, but to plug it into/or onto a tripod or other device for filming video requires the entire case to be take off, which is not ideal. Ended up tossing it and getting a new one.

This OtterBox case is step down from previous Defender cases. The edge protection is much shallower, allowing shorter objects to contact the screen. The rubber case is thinner and less pliable. It does allow wireless charging much more easily than previous versions, but it just looks and feels cheaper. (And I’ve scratched my screen. Last iPhone had for 6 years with no scratches.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
