This is not insulated. Coffee go cold quickly. YOUR claim is insulation keeping the coffee hot. This is not true.

Plunger thread strips / poor joint design

Plunger to filter thread stripped after 2 years of occasional (3 times a week) use.
I’d give it 5 stars if the thread didn’t strip. It would seem as though there’s a material mismatch between the male and female thread.
I recommend matching the yield strength of the threads.

Nice, but destined to fail quickly.

20 oz. coffee press works great at first, but the dimensions of the plunger's stem and the two threaded parts that screw onto it are wrong, such that the threads strip after as few as a half dozen uses as the other reviews also mention. One _could_ file down the two interfering surfaces to allow the threads to engage more, but really, shouldn't that have been fixed by the second manufacturing run? (Oh, and of course, no replacement parts offered for sale here....)

Poor design. Fails after use.

The threads on the plunger are too fine and will fail over time. The screen mesh assembly no longer screws into the plunger. Had my first press replaced under warranty. The second one failed as well in the same way and they will no longer replace it. A product like this should last more than a year or so. These do not.

This is my second French Press and I am really happy. The Press works well at filtering the coffee grinds. On top of being functional, it is a beautiful piece.

It makes great tasting coffee and filters out all of the grounds (without having to purchase additional filters). Easy to clean. It's fine for everyday home use, slightly more effort than an electric/automatic brewer, but it's worth it.
