The TDS readings vary a lot

The TDS readings vary a lot which is concerning. The unit is noisier than our previously purchased Waterdrop unit. Time will tell if this was a good purchase.

Excellent water filter. Easy

Excellent water filter. Easy to install, works great, water tastes great, very satisfied.
Not sure if other owners have this same experience: after turning on the Waterdrop faucet, the TDS first displays the incominng water TDS (around 300 in my area), then after a second or so it changes to the filtered TDS level -- as it should. In my case, the filtered level is always low (usually around 20). But, then the readings immediately start to go UP, until they reach 150-200, then they start coming down again. I usually wait until it comes back down to around 50 before I start filling my water bottle, but that typically means I've run 20 -30 seconds of water down the drain. I'm assuming it must take a little time for the RO filter to get up to speed. It's an odd "feature" of this system, but one I can live with.

The TDS are too high when

The TDS are too high when first turning on the faucet. I either waste water waiting for it to go down or use it. Usually, i opt to waste the water or save it for something other than drinking or coffee since its too hard for my coffee/espresso machine and I don't like that taste.
