I bought this blender because of the price and the wonderful reviews here. When I opened the box, it looks new but it smells like vinegar was poured into it. I started to doubt if it was actually brand new. I used it to puree mangoes for the 2nd time since it was delivered to me. I started to smell something like wires burning. There was no smoke however but I returned it anyway lest it might explode the next time I use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
