Best protection!

I had my ups and downs with Otterbox products, yet at the end of the day their Defender Pro cases always protected my phones during work. I’m loving this Rain Check color on my IPhone 14 ProMax! Case is not to bulky but definitely does the job on protecting my phone!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible. Avoid like covid

I got my otterbox defender first then my iphone 14 promax. Installed case on iphone. I walked into work phone in holster walked through the door and it fell out of the holster in front of about 80 coworkers and the cameras cracked in front of everyone on the first day. I’ve used otterbox since iphone 5. Otterbox your holster doesn’t fit. Otterbox are you listening to your customers ?

We have had otterbox cases for the last 10years. We purchased 2 defender pro XT cases for our new 14s. Just like other reviews have stated the case is not user friendly to put on. You will struggle. It also feels the snap-on top cover that holds it all in will not protect the front of your phone Incase it falls. It is at the same level as the screen vs the defender that has some space from case to screen. For what it is worth I don’t think the whole case would protect from breaking your iPhones fall PERIOD. I need my phone out of this case . Otterbox how can I get a exchange for the defender case ?

To get your case securely on your device, you'll first want to locate the seem on the side of the case to separate it into two pieces. From there, apply the back half of the case to your phone and slowly get the front on by working the edges from corner to corner.
Even though the Defender Series Pro XT is thinner than the standard Defender Series Pro cases, it actually provides your device with even more protection! Those raised edges around the front of the screen and camera are there to help with that drop protection, but we recommend pairing this case with one of our trusted screen protectors for the ultimate device safety.

Still no magsafe? Come on Otterbox

I'm having a hard time understanding why magsafe integration keeps being left out of the best case you make for any phone. I really want to be able to fully enjoy my phone and enjoy your product at the same time, but I'm having a hard time. I was very close to choosing a new case this time around. The case itself is fantastic, and if it brakes as always it's replaced. Can't complain about any part of the case, except that it inhibits me from using my phone to its full potential, and it's a shame. I know it's been mentioned in the questions that there are no plans to change this, but I'm telling you, you are losing customers. My wife opted to buy a different brand this time, and I guarantee she's not the only one. I know you have other cases that have it, so there is no excuse. Until you build a case as good as this one that allows me to fully use my phone, you will lose me as a customer too. Super disappointing.

I had high hopes :(

I am really sad and disappointed. I had went all out and purchased the iPhone 14 pro max, and I thought going big with the case would be my best bet. So I invested in the defender series pro. I loved it, the color, how sturdy it felt. I’ve had the case for about three months. Nothing majorly wrong, that I was aware of. Screen seemed okay, case held up pretty okay. Except of the rubbery part bubbling up with air in the back, idk if it’s stretched out with time or what. I haven’t taken it off once. Recently though it has taken one tumble from around two feet off the ground. And that’s when I just thought I’d take a peak at it outside of the case, it’s completely shattered, glass shards left behind in the case. I was devastated, I swore nothing would have happened to it due to how thick the case is. I was very careful with it, as I had never bought a phone brand new. I even went all out on this case and still, it ended up destroyed. I wouldn’t recommend this model. Maybe there is better luck with something else. :((

Extremely warm at all times

The case does protect like always, but this case Carries heat way more than the same case on the iPhone 12 Pro Max. I loved this case on my prior phone. This one makes my pocket sweat even when the iPhone 14 is in standby even with always on display off. Turning off 5g helps a negligible amount. If I take the case off or change to apples own MagSafe clear case it's way less heat. However without the added grip or texture.

We don't have any concerns about the range of heat dissipation, but we do make other, more streamlined models that would inherently be more similar to the Apple case you mentioned if something like that would be a better match for your comfort level and use.
