It took me twice to get the openings to exactly align (< 0.125 mm) with the buttons. This is no fault of the case itself but the way the external piece was put on the first time.

I bought this case about a month ago, and it doesn't let my phone to charge wirelessly. Most of the time I have to remove the case while on the car or any wirelessly charging. This is the main reason I am giving 4 star, other than that the case feels durable. (I do not have to remove 2 layers of otterbox, only remove one layer and it works)

This case is an excellent example of why I've bought Otterbox cases for every single phone that I've owned for many years, and if this continues to be the standard then I will be buying and recommending them for many more years.
It was easy to get my phone into the case, and the pieces snapped together without any trouble. It feels very solid and sturdy, and I have full confidence in this case's ability to protect my phone if I drop it at some point.
I've chosen the Canyon Sun variety and I really like the look of the case. The colors are pleasant and appealing. I have to admit that I really like the design of this case. Not only does it feel like a secure and sturdy case, it also looks the part. I'd call this a pretty stylish case!
There's a little gap in the corner to allow access to the S23 Ultra's built-in S-Pen, and that space allows sufficient room to access it without any difficulty. I'm also pretty happy that the camera cutout on the back doesn't interfere with the camera protector that I've purchased to go along with this case. Additionally, I've noticed that the protective flap for the charging port is a bit more flexible and soft than with other cases I've seen, including past Otterbox cases. I see this as a plus, as an extremely stiff flap would mean more risk of damage to the charging port when it is in use.
I would definitely recommend buying this case for your S23 Ultra. It's absolutely worth it, especially considering how excellent Otterbox's customer support is. I've had times where I needed to use my warranty one time or another in the past and they've always made the process extremely pain-free. One way or another, you won't be disappointed.

This is my second Otterbox Defender series, the last one being for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. I had that one for 3 years and it never let me down. I'm confident this new one will hold up just as well.
The case fits perfectly and is easy to put together. It's equally simple to take the phone out for the occasional cleaning.
The synthetic rubber outer shell is textured in a way that makes it easy to grip and the holster kickstand works wonderfully as a handle to hold the phone as well.
Overall a well-made and reliable product.
