Love this, but...

Upgraded to the new model from an old Crane Drop because I noticed it had the option to turn the light off, which is an excellent feature, finally complete darkness!
Having it as a top fill is so convenient too, but because of this it no longer uses the cartridge filters. I have hard water and buying distilled just isn't feasible so I'm a bit worried about white dust and build up, but thankfully the wide mouth opening and detachable cord make this a breeze to clean.
Had to replace the old one because the motor got too loud to sleep, I forgot how quiet these are when brand new. As for the sound machine feature, all three sound basically the same, just slight variations on the most obnoxious anxiety inducing white noise that I would not subject myself or a baby to. The waves sound like a toilet flushing. I would not buy this specifically for that feature. Thankfully it naturally has a quiet whirr and slight drip while running without the sound machine that is quite pleasant.
Crane really knocked it out of the park with how cute these are. Bringing it out of storage every winter actually brings me joy. I hope they never discontinue them. I'm glad they took customers suggestions to make an already great product even more user friendly.

Humidifiers are a must have in our home during the cold months and we have had many over the years but this humidifier is definitely one of my favorites that we have had. There are three settings, low, medium and high plus it is a sound machine as well. Such a neat feature! It’s top fill, so it’s incredibly easy to fill up and it’s also very easy to clean. We love that the light changes colors too, it’s so pretty! Overall, this humidifier works perfect and is an amazing addition to my daughters room! Awesome product!

Great machine! Thank you for finally designing something that can be cleaned thoroughly! Great output of mist and the color changing light is a great nightlight for my kids. The volume for the sound machine feature is not nearly loud enough to be effective. But fortunately that wasn't one of my main reasons for buying this humidifier in the first place.

We have been using Crane humidifiers since my first son was born 4 years ago. The new 4-in-1 is a game changer. The top fill is amazing and makes using it so much easier. I also love the ease of the new settings instead of a dial.

I am so thrilled that Crane came out with a top fill humidifier! I have been waiting and they finally delivered! The new 4-in-1 has been one of the best baby items we have for our twins. The top fill has made having a humidifier less messy and it has been a breeze to clean. The sound machine function is a must and it toggles between different sounds and you can adjust the sound level. It also has a light feature which we don't use too often but my 3 year old son loves so I can see this humidifier being used for the next few years. Also one neat feature about this is that the annoying little light (the one that keeps you up at night on the small electronics) turns off within a few seconds of choosing the humidifing level. The only downside I found with the 4-in-1 is that the sound and light buttons are touch buttons which in the dark are hard to find. Other than that, this humidifier has held up to the Crane brand and I will be buying more for our other rooms!

Wow. I love this new Crane Humidifier! This is our 4th crane humidifier. I love the aestethics of this, it is quiet with no sound machine, the lights my daughter loves, and the sound machine is a great calming sound. The top fill is so much more convenient and the ease of use with the buttons. This is great! I also love how the humidifier is in a reusable plastic bag with the environment in mind.
