Defective - Damaged My Equipment

I purchased this arm to use with my Blue Snowball Mic -> After setting up the device where I wanted it the knob to adjust the spring arm failed, causing the mic assembly to slam against my desk. I fastened the knobs as much as reasonably possible.
The fall caused bearing in my mic to break and it does not swivel any more -> this was a brand new microphone. Further, while trying to get my microphone off the piece of junk, the adapter got stuck inside the microphone - I was able to get it out with some patience.
I wasn't expecting much, just for it to work as described - instead I have a broken mic.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
