[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the unit in place for just over a month and so far it has performed perfectly. The pump feature works really well and has reliably maintained humidity level as set. The Wi-Fi features are nice to have as well. The test will be its durability and reliability. I've had many dehumidifiers that have conked out after a year or so. Hopeful that the hOmeLabs unit performs better than most.

Using in a garage

We have a lake home on the MN/Canada border that we frequent about once a month. I have an unattached garage that we built 4 years ago. It is tight and well insulated. I have noticed some mold growing on the walls and on cloth materials in that garage since the humidity builds up while we are gone. I decided to purchase this unit for 2 reasons. First, the fact that it has WIFI capability lets me control it from my phone. There are often sporadic power outages which caused my old dehumidifier to shut off and not always turn back on when the power was restored. This device continually runs and I have had no issues with the power outages. I can monitor the device while Im away from my phone. The WIFI feature is very handy for me in this situation. Second, the reservoir pump works great for the disposal of the water. I have the small line running to a sink in my garage. Not having to worry about the line sticking out under the garage door to drain is helpful. It will also keep critters out of the garage. Overall I have only had the unit for a short time, but it seems to be working great and I am please.

For the Basement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A lttle pricey but the system works very well. It was very easy to set up, and I really like the Wi/App. I have the pump set up, therfeor I never have to empty a bucket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fills up completely about every 12 hours. So, it seems to be doing really well in our small apartment. Great compact size, and rather quiet, at least to leave running in kitchen. Tank is easy to empty. Controls give you a lot of control. Perfect little unit!

Water reservoir could be better and easier to remove.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well for our bedroom and is fairly quiet. My one complaint is the water reservoir is difficult to remove as there is not much of a hand hold. When full, it is very easy to spill while trying to remove.
