Effective unit

The functioning of the unit is puzzling. It keeps recycling on and off. The percentage readout is higher than the selected humidity percentage and yet the unit turns on. I have called the company once and will again.
Maybe this is normal functioning??? There is a setting for continuous operation, but I do not want to operate the unit full-time.
The unit is quiet and takes a lot of moisture out of the house. The water bucket is easy and convenient to empty.
The unit is attractive and is definitely removing water and lowering the humidity in my home. I just wish it would not keep turning off and on after the desired humidity is reached.

My house gets condensation and

My house gets condensation and ice on the inside of the windows in winter. The dehumidifier has greatly reduced that and the humidity in the house is lower. The unit only has to be emptied about once a day. I very much appreciate the way it works.

Read a number of product descriptions and reviews before settling on the 35 pint dehumidifier. I was looking for a product made in USA, and one that was rated highly as “quiet.” I am pleased with the main function of controlling humidity in my home. I use the dehumidifier to control humidity in a 2,000 sqft home located by the ocean in Georgia.

So far so good. Only had a few weeks of run time on the unit between the transition from AC Furnace season.
Brought down the basement humidity levels, with good air circulation. Fan noise is acceptable.
Used a hose connection to a floor drain, no leakage.
Has been plugged in since, verifying electronics burn-in time - no issues.
Will occasionally cycle power to verify the start-up - no issues.
Hopefully springtime will yield the same results.

Works great, has an automatic setting adjusting dehumidifier level to air temperature. With a hose to the sump pump, it works independently
