Nice dehumidifier...works great! Decent price....

This is a great dehumidifier. It arrived in great condition.
I especially liked the set up instructions I received prior to its arrival...to let the humidifier sit in its proper upright position for 72 hours before using it. This allows the oil in the compressor to settle back into the bottom. Mine sat for almost 4 whole days before I got to setting it up.
The only drawback I think this has is the handle for the buckets. It seems a bit flimsy and can twist a bit durong emptying the bucket when its full of water.

This is so quiet, we are really happy with it. Hopefully it proves to as energy efficient as it claims to be when we get our next electricity bill.

Hygrometer not accurate
on February 20, 2023
Posted by: John O.
Too early to tell as the humidity is low at this time however the hygrometer on the dehumidifier is showing readings 15% points higher than the actual basement humidity which caused the dehumidifier to run nonstop when first turned on. I have a separate hygrometer placed next to it that I used with my previous dehumidifier and it only differed by 1 or 2% points. I am now setting the dehumidifier to 75% in order to keep the basement a 60%. We will see how this works.
