Very impressive unit

Just purchased the ac for my small apartment. Very pleased with this item. It was easy to install. Very happy that it came with a 60" window kit. The amount of cooling it creates is enough to cool my entire space. It's very quiet compared to window mounted versions and the remote is simple to use. Haven't tried the heat or dehumidifier modes. But I suspect that they will be a good addition! I would recommend this product to anyone tired of messing around with seasonal installations and removal of their window mounted unit.

Its good enough for a portable ac

I bought this a month prior and when the temperature is above 85 it does struggle to cool down my apartment which is 650 sq ft. However I’m in an old 1950s apartment building and on the top floor with southern exposure and a lot of windows so it is really being put to task. All in all, it was a good enough investment.

Unit itself is great.... window elements need redesign and improvements. Later part is very frustrating.

Early Days

Just received the unit. Delivery was excellent. Unpacking and set up were simple enough. Too early to say much at this point other than the unit functions and blows cold air. Not sure yet if it will adequately cool my 550 s.f. 1 BR apartment. Yesterday the outside high reached 94 degrees. With the unit on for several hours, the inside temperature was 82 degrees. Hoping for more. Delivery and setup were a breeze.

Happy beyond words Our HVAC crapped the bed last summer. We purchased a small 5,000 btu window unit for our BR, and 10,000 GE INVERTER window unit as well, This B&D is a game changer does the job and then some! I’m finally comfortable thank goodness! Definitely a better product and it absolutely outperforms any unit I’ve owned/still own to date! The Best!
