Cools fast but a bit noisy

I bought this last month during a heat wave and I am very happy with my purchase! It quickly cools the whole space and there is a noticeable temperature difference when I walk into the room.
However, it is near my bedroom, and it is noisy enough to make it tricky to sleep. Specifically, the sounds it makes as it moves between cycles is distinct enough to wake me. So now I run it before I go to bed, and then turn it back on in the morning.
I would recommend this to a friend!
