Good cooling for small rooms and easy to assemble and fit. The window fitting should be customizable at the time of order. I had a hard time finding a saw to cut down the window fitting

Works well, keeping cool

It works well but is a bit louder than I thought it might be. My apartment is about 400 square feet and I have it situated in my living room but the fan doesn't seem to be strong enough to push the air into my room 10 feet away.
I also have a newer apartment where they added a vented hole in the wall for the hose. The windows don't slide open they open out away from the building. But the circular vent opening is the same size as the hose opening so it doesn't actually fit. I've taped it for now and it's not super secure and have to find a better solution on my own because it didn't come with anything for that situation.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
