Decent ac unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a 950 square foot apartment and this air conditioner works well to keep us cool during hot days. It’s about as loud as any other ac unit and takes up the same amount of space.

Installation isn’t a slam dunk - minimal direction

I bought this last week and the universal window installation kit didn’t fit my window sash design. The sill also didn’t easily support the hose attachment which kept pulling the window kit out from under the window. Finally found a different insulation product 1/2” by 1/4” that allowed me to modify the kit enough for to use it and then used duct tape to stabilize and hold it in place. It’s finally seems to be working. Overall I like the unit and I bought it to be able to set it up and read it down without help lofting a unit in and out of the window. And it works well for that.
