[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] have had this for two weeks and outside temperatures have been in the 80s making indoor temps in the high 70s/low eighties. so far it has kept my 300 sq ft sun porch comfortably cool.

Great Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was originally confused between the ASHRAE Rating and the DOE Rating. I had a 12,000 BTU sleeve A/C that cooled well. I would have replaced it but it was seven feet in the air and weighs 80 lbs. I couldn't find anyone who would do the removal and installation.
Rather than swelter, I chose this unit. It cools wonderfully.
It is plenty powerful enough for a 700 square foot room. It is quiet. I prefer this one hose unit over a two hose. Two hose units draw hot air from outside.
This unit draws intake air from inside, so the air is pre-cooled. It is recirculated, which is great during pollen season.
Rather than swelter, I chose this unit. It cools wonderfully.
