Helps when the summer is worst

I just purchased this replacement for the same model that failed last summer after a lightning storm. I was hoping that I wouldn’t have to go through the whole window installation thing but, alas, they changed the hose size. Aside from the janky window installation, setup was straightforward. I live in the desert and part of the summer an evaporative cooler is adequate but when the monsoon season arrives this unit makes my apartment bearable.
I would recommend this to a friend!
