The easy-bake oven for grown-up home cooks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I meant to get more pictures this week but it was a bit hectic so I’ll be a bit more descriptive.
First off, absolutely love this toaster oven/air fryer combo! The dials are smooth like the kind on luxury stereo systems, the buttons firm but easy to press, the doors… my god, the doors! State of the art, opening at the same time no matter which you pull! So much easier to avoid knuckle burns too. The inside, roomy and well spaced. I love having the dials at the top. The display also powers on with contact and automatically sleeps once idle for a while.
The dials/buttons are pretty simple, easy to read. You have the presets for air fry directly on the face, with icons letting you know what each setting is for. Turning the dial hops you over to the presets for roasting, toasting, baking, slow cooking and dehydrating, etc. I didn’t get around to the slower ones (slow cooking and dehydrating) but since I did test the convection functions and the speed of the air fryer, it’s a given that this is set as a prime environment both for getting those juices going and also sizzling them to oblivion if needed. Each preset shows you whether there is a preheat stage or not and you can also toggle the convection at a press of the button. Control-wise, you can’t get a better interface. I’ve seen it mentioned that some don’t like the absence of a clock but I have three other appliances set for that and it’s already overkill so this was a refreshing thing to leave out. I like that there is no additional LED light once it idles.
The trays are all ideal. I have silicone bake mats for the old oven I had but they didn’t fit it just right. Turns out these trays are the perfect fit for them! The basket is airy and easy to clean, the rack and tray as well. Even the crumb tray slides in and out effortlessly. If you’ve got a drippy basket meal and think the crumb tray won’t suffice, pop the tray in as a drip pan. Spray a little citrus based cleaner or dish soap on it while still warm and it’s a snap to clean!
The overall design down to the stainless steel shell is just gorgeous. I know the Midea brand from window AC units but was surprised to learn they’ve been a huge manufacturer of appliances across the board. This definitely made me take notice of them when shopping for other appliances.
Insofar, I love the functions I was able to try but slow-cooking and dehydrating is often a summer activity, something you can pop in and not have to scurry about in a hot kitchen. I look forward to making sun-dried tomatoes for Mediterranean pasta salads and ranch pulled chicken slow-cooked to perfection. I have no doubt of that because everything I’ve made so far was just SO evenly cooked, easy to get either those soft/chewy or crackled/crispy with the settings available. This is so perfect for those small batches with my nephews and I nibbling away. Not having to use the full oven and its slow preheat can turn even a marathon of treats into a much shorter and streamlined process. When all three of us like a different flavor, it’s still simple to churn out good portions of all three.
So if the clock not being an option is a dealbreaker, that would be the only reason to pass on this. But really, it would be a huge shame to do so. This is a powerhouse well worth having.

Next it performs so well and is easy to use. We made wings in it and they were the best we’ve ever had. Lastly it can hold a good amount of food as well. Overall I would highly recommend this product.m and would purchase it again.

Well Designed for Functionality & Aesthetics

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] VERY impressed by this air fryer combo! Finally one that is not an eye sore on my kitchen counter! The French doors are not just aesthetically pleasing, but functional with ease of cleaning. The design of the oven in general is incredibly functional and applicable for daily use. My last air fryer was similar in dimensions externally, but internally no where near 26.4QTs. I’m impressed by how compact, yet spacious it is.
I have used the reheat, warm, pizza, toast, bake, and air fry functions the most and was pleasantly surprised at the pizza function! It actually reheats or bakes pizzas evenly. The air fry function also heats up WAY faster than my old combo oven and others I’ve used.
I did not expect much from a countertop convention oven, but pleased that it actually makes such a difference in evenly heating/cooking in all functions.
