Amazing Stove just use it 2 times. Heats up very fast and impressed of the power it has. Energy spending not sure because I have not used it for a whole month to see my bill. A little concern about magnetic energy and warning signs of cancer, and had to change all my pots and pans.
Very nice cook top with 5 burners and digital controls far enough back small children cant touch them. It is being installed in granite countertop over knotty hickory cabinets. Until it is fully installed the heating capability I cant comment on however I am confident it will function as well as it looks. It came well packaged for protection. The only reason I took away a star was numerous tops I considered have a stainless trim around them that really does add to the appearance. This unit did not have that as an option, and I cant find an aftermarket part to fit the stove top.
We just installed the cook top today. So this review maybe premature. But all burners worked. I love that their is nothing to clean around and it looks clean and sleek. We thought it was a good value. It heats quickly seams easy to clean. It has a slight hum during operation
I installed this unit myself-------EASY! Put a kettle on the burner with 3 or 4 cups of water and it was bubbling and producing steam in about 30 sec. on boost! FREAKIN' WOW! Very impressive thus far!

While it looks pretty its pretty complicated and very touchy. I hate cooking on it because first I had to rush out and buy all new pans. then its so touchy if I even move a pan while cooking the stove turns itself off and dosent want to turn back on until the burner is totally cooled. It really is a bigger hassle then my older coil type
Like having a cooktop with a jet engine. Piece of advice. Until you establish proper cooking temps for your usual preparations, don't wander away too far away or you'll burn something. VERY efficient heat delivery, cooks fast. I get more comfortable with it every time I use it.

My old Kenmore induction cooktop failed 3 times in 10 years. the part cost few hundred dollar. Cheaper to buy this one than buying parts to fix an old unit. Used this for a month. so far so good. It is good that the timer will actually turn off the stove. the gradient power is a bit not as efficient as my old unit, but it is acceptable for the price.
