Well built...hopefully? new update added!!!!

This cooktop is to replace my existing induction cooktop. My old one was by Ramblewood and was terribly built and shattered its glass top the first time I use it. I couldn't return because it was over return period.
This one, I've used couple times but so far seems well built. Even feels heavier than my old one. Hopefully this one will last years.
I'll update if anything changes.

alrighty, here is the update after a month and half of use, nothing goes wrong, everything works as they supposed to. and the tempered glass surface is easy to keep clean. I will definitely recommend this product.

Switched from gas cooktop to electric

We had this major renovation and decided to switch from gas to electric because this cooktop looks so nice. As it turns out, it definitely was worth it. The cooking time is nearly half now. We are not too picky about food so we didn't notice any difference, but I'm sure Gordon Ramsay would say otherwise.

For a no-name brand, this exceeded my expectations.

This was offered as a used (return) at almost a third off of the new cost. Prime covers return shipping so I gave it a try. When it was delivered I got nervous, because the shipping box was really trashed. I was wondering if that might be foretelling of the products condition inside. But to my relief the cook-top looked brand new. There were no scratches, chips, nor dents. Furthermore, all the functions worked as expected,...Well, except one small thing. The lowest setting is 'L' (for 'keep warm'), but it seems to put out more energy than '1'. Seems odd, but it isn't a problem for me.I've only been using this for two months, so I cannot speak to reliability. But, I am very pleased with this cook-top thus far.BTW - Everyone should know that you can't use aluminum, copper, glass, nor ceramic pots and pans. The bottoms must be of a ferrous material.

A friend who is an electrician installed it for us. Its working great, looks beautiful. We had to buy new pots but we needed a cooktop with power and this one offered more watts than others.

Game changer ??

After installing myself and thoroughly testing this induction range for a couple weeks, I am 100% satisfied with the quality, function and value for the $$.Using this range is a superior experience cooking compared to gas and radiant electric. The things I like most are the fast heat, easy cleaning and even distribution of heat. My previous radiant stove top I needed to use an abrasive glass top cleanser at least once a week due to burnt on food. With this induction stovetop, a damp paper towel is all that is needed. The controls are intuitive and fully functional. There is a change to tactile feel around the burners to help indicate when your cookware is centered. This is a well-made product which is available at an extremely competitive price.?? Tip. You will have an improved experience using induction cookware that is 100% ferrous metal, as opposed to aluminum cookwear with a ferrous metal plate sandwiched bottom side.

So, I hit a snug. I ordered a fantastic oven, but didn't realize how it will fit in my newly renovated galley kitchen. Than I had a new countertop installed. Than I realized that there simply isn't enough space between the top of the new stove and the bottom of the countertop to fit my existing cook-top. oh no!!! So I turned to the internet to search for a cook-top that will fit in about 3-inches from top of the countertop - and that is how I found the Empava Induction Cook-top. I read on...

Great product for the money

This cooktop has changed our lives! It heats evenly and quickly. We did have to get used to it and burned food the first couple of times using it. It is nice though, now we are used to it, our food doesn't stick in the pans. My husband was able to install it with little difficulty (we had to cut our hole a little bigger). The digital, touch controls are easy to use. I love the lock feature. We have 5 grandchildren and they can't use the stove or accidentally turn the eye up when it's in use. I would highly recommend this cooktop!
