Fast and Easy cooking

We have replaced our Electric cooktop with this Gas cooktop. We are very happy. The flame is good with 5 different size burners. One of the grate for the middle burner was broken in the box which the company is sending soon. Overall its easy to clean and it heats up right away. My wife is very happy.

OUTSTANDING COOKTOP!!

My old cooktop was a Metawell, the BTU's were so low I could only boil water on 1 burner!!. I compared many brands and prices, the Empava 30 inch is very attractive and the price was scary low compared to most others. There are no words to say how pleased we are. I can finally boil water on any burner!!

Empava 30 inch 5-burner cooktop

Arrived promptly and in great condition. Easy to install. The directions were somewhat confusing, Included were LPG nozzles, Natural gas nozzles and already installed out of the box nozzles. Wasn't sure which ones to use, so we simply installed the cooktop as-is without changing the nozzles. Seems to work fine. Because the 5 burners are rather close together, large frying pans overlap the grills and come quite close to the plastic knobs. Overall, looks great and works fine. Significantly less expensive than other 5-burner, 30 inch cooktops.

Burner Placement is Wrong

I like my new gas cooktop way better than my old electric and this one was pretty simple to install. The directions for installation are sparse as are directions as to burner placement. And speaking of placement these burners are backwards. The medium burner is way in the back left of the stove with two small ones up front. The small ones are for warming and maintaining a long heat and should be in the rear of the stove while the medium should be up front as it will be the one you use the most. Besides those issue it works great and looks good.

It works just like advertised

I love my new cooktop. It’s easy to clean, and I love the convenience of a gas range. However I haven’t yet gotten the hang of the middle burner... it still usually bursts into action... a bit scary.

Empava 5 burner gas stovetop. See addendum

Just installed the Empava stovetop. It’s beautiful. As long as you have good wrenches and some plumbing know how, it’s easy to put in. Buy the kit with fittings and new hose. I used pipe dope but the yellow Teflon tape works fine. Do not over tighten.The igniter takes about 2 seconds, same as my old stovetop. I sealed the edges with clear silicone to keep it clean. The large middle burner is perfect for my wok cookingTime will tell, but I’m really happy with it and an easy DIY project.So much cheaper than the brand names and no one but me knows it’s not a fortuneGo for it! Make sure you check for leaks with soap solution!Addendum. Removed one star as the stainless steel has scratched in normal use and cleaning. Hairline scratches but I know they are there

Great price for a great cooktop!

I was looking to upgrade to a gas cooktop once my electric cooktop needed to be replaced. I was skeptical as the price was so much less than the more recognized brands. However, the reviews were mostly good and the product was at least engineered in the USA. I was able to install the product myself. The only hiccups I ran into on the install was using the gas lines that were not being used. I have been very happy with the cooktop and it works every bit as good as my family and friend's more expensive ones. I highly recommend this product.
