I love these wireless temp probes by Typhur, the base screen is easy to read and the app on the phones supplies all the information needed and accurate too.

This product was not purchased for myself, but for my church, which recently purchased a vertical pellet smoker for their events and holiday get-togethers. The rapid speed of the temperature readings and the high-end graphic display felt much more appropriate for church cookouts -- especially given that they got a pretty high-end smoker -- than a Thermopen would have been. I wanted to make sure the church got the most cutting-edge thermometer possible, and this was it.

It does the job well and looks great, but this version didn't have the slot the needle clicks into so I've stabbed myself a handful of times, no buttons so no temp hold no calibration Very readable screen and seems to be accurate and instant

I’m quite pleased with this thermometer’s performance. It is very rapid in its measurement. The temperature display is large and easy to read with its high contrast white text against black background. The text auto rotates to right side up depending on the orientation of the thermometer. I also like its internal magnets that hold the thermometer on to a flat metal surface like a fridge, stove, or barbecue. It also has a motion sensor to which allows any movement of the thermometer to wake it up if it has gone to standby mode. What I don’t like is you have to unscrew the battery case cover to access the C/F switch which makes it very inconvenient to change temperature units. It appears to be quite robust and is made out of quality materials.
