Many great features. Mostly bought for the large basket. Seems strange to leave out some basic features that others get right. You can change the time and temp settings on both the unit and the app for the different functions (Air fry, pizza, steak, etc.) but you can't re-program them. So if you find that you air fry fries at a different temp than what is programmed on "Air fry", then you will have to change the setting every...single...time you want to use that function. With an app you have soooo much more varied user interface, but they didn't take advantage of that. Many other air fryers just let you hold down the function button with the new time and temp and boom! you're preset has been changed and you'll never have to change it again. Not Typhur. You will have to change it manually every...single...time...
Also, the basket handle extends below the bottom of the basket, so if you set it on the counter, it's tipped and wobbly. To avoid this, you set it on the edge of the counter with the handle hanging over the edge so the basket can sit flat on the counter. One wrong move and the basket falls off and the handle breaks when it hits the floor. Frustrating. I have already had this happen once and ordered a new basket.
Lastly, the bottom of the pan is domed so it's higher in the middle. I assume it's to support the middle of the grill/grate. The undesired effect is that there is very little clearance (0-1/8") between the floor of the basket and the grate. So not great flow and things tend to burn since you have a lower heating element and poor airflow.
Overall, they won a lot of business by having a huge surface are basket with enough real estate to be a dedicated pizza oven. BUT...at 2-3 times the price of all the competition, they really should have included the basic convenience and design features that make their competitors products so successful and easy to use/customize.

This is the best Air Fryer EVER, it does it all and it is so beautifully beautiful on my kitchen counter, I have used it almost almost every day. It makes things so much easier with my busy lifestyle. This is my best purchase in a long time. Worth every penny. Typhur makes cooking easy, so many recipes. Thank You♥️♥️

I am on the carnivore food plan, so I cook a lot of meat. Other air fryers have deep cooking pans, I love the size and depth of this cooker (about 2.5”) for cooking meat. I can cook 4 very large burger Pattie’s or 2-3 steaks. Since it is shallow, it is much easier to flip the burgers and steaks. Also, the depth makes it is so much easier to clean. I cook the meat and take it out of the air fryer and put it on my plate to “rest” and immediately wash the pan and grate (about 1-2 min). As far as cooking, I love that the heating element is only a couple of inches above the meat so I can use the broil setting. I always preheat the fryer so I get the sizzle when I put the meat in to cook.

Initially, I was skeptical about spending so much on an air fryer but the Typhur is so much more. I’m vegetarian, and I find that it makes preparing vegetables so fast and tasty. It makes the best crispy tofu I’ve ever had. I also bake in it. I love the crunchiness it gives food. I’m always wary of taking up valuable counter space with a new appliance, but I use it almost every day, and it’s well worth the counter space it occupies in my relatively small kitchen.

This air fryer cooks faster and better than any other device ive used. I dont think I can go back to making things in the oven ever again. I made wings and they were perfectly crispy. Fries turned out amazing too. The tray is big enough to fit enough for two so I never had to struggle with awkwardly stacking things or doing two cooks. I was a person that ate a lot of takeout, but this air fryer makes me excited to cook at home now. I actually look forward to dinners at home. Id wholeheartedly recommend the Typhur Dome 2 to absolutely anyone.

Acquired this awesome air fryer recently. I've owned numerous brands of air fryers over the years. I've become quite the cook using air fryers, too:) Owning the Typhur Dome 2 AND the Sync air fryer makes me feel like I've gone from a Volkswagen to a Mercedes Benz! To me, all other air fryers should be compared to Typhur--it is simply the best available. The Typhur app with its A.I. chef allows me to pose a cooking question to it and receive instructions that are spot-on perfect! Honestly, the Typhur air fryers are worth every single penny--you will NOT be disappointed.
