So hard to get clean after first use!

I thought it would substitute for an outdoor grill. While it's slightly easier to clean than a real charcoal grill, It's certainly took me just as long to prep, make and cook my food as to clean up although I think I still spent more time trying to get the grease from the 3 burgers I cooked off all the plastic parts without immersing the device in any water as it says not to. I can see that the space between the metal plate and the plastic base is going to be a collection area for every single item grilled. Not to mention that the area seems to be roughly finished which adds to the problem of cleaning grease between the spaces. Wish it was better designed. Seems to cook fairly well. As it was the first attempt, probably was over cooked because burgers were rather dry. Strange that the descriptions of the cooking guide gives 3 different temperature ranges but I don't see any settings for low, medium or high heat. it's hot, hot, and hot.
Maybe it will grow on me, and I'll not be too upset about the struggle to keep it de-greased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for sandwiches. It really toastes the bread well without a mess to clean. The cheese easily came off without sticking. It is very small and easy to store and clean after using. I would recommend and i use it very often.

Love i can cook indoors. Don't like cleaning it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love i can grill indoors instead of outside in the heat. This grill makes it easier to make tasty healthy meals without a lot of fuss. You simply put it your meat or whatever you are grilling close the lid and it cooks from both sides. There are few issues i do have however. It is difficult to clean since i see no way to pop the plates out to wash them so it's time consuming and akward to clean. We use seasonings on our meat so that can get stuck somewhat to the plates sometimes. Another problem i ran into is there is no way to control the temperature so we had issues with the top plate somewhat burning our meat especially chicken. It would over cook on the outside and be undercooked in the middle so we did often have to not close the top part. Usually it was with chicken. With no temperature control it was harder to get our steaks or burgers done to the temperature we liked without over cooking the outside sometimes. I prefer medium to medium raremy son prefers medium to medium well. Maybe more detailed instructions would have helped. So it's a good product to have for grilling indoors you just have to get the hang of using it in the way that's going to get your food done to your specific temperature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this to replace my old one just because. The old one, I had for YEARS and had no issues. This newer version stopped working within months!
