I bought this 2 weeks ago. 1st time refilling, I was able to easily remove the cover. Since that time,I have had to pry the cover off to refill.

Leaking from the base.

I bought this a year ago and used it for a month to help my breathing during winter. I turned it on last night and noticed today that is is leaking severely from the bottom of the base. I didn't think that was possible, but has been reflected in other 1 star reviews. I will be searching for a new one soon.

Kindly place the unit on a flat surface, place the top cover tightly and check for obstruction. No mist

I've this humidifier about a month and it's stopped working. I can hear the fan but there is no mist. There is plenty of water in it and there is no mist on either setting I've cleaned it with the bleach solution with no luck. I liked it while it worked tho....Thanks

bad plastic smell

I love the simplicity and user friendliness of the design, but the plastic has a horrible chemical odor and unfortunately the base of the unit where the air comes out is where the strongest smell is and can't be washed because that's where the electrical is. I want a humidifier for health reasons, and it's not going to help my health to have toxic off-gassing in the air. Returning.

I bought this a little bit over a month ago and it has been nothing but great. I’ve never had a problem with it. It also produces a very large amount of mist and it almost makes more than my friend’s expensive one. Very satisfied

YouWill Never Go Back To A Heated Mist Humidifier

After a number of years of using heated mist humidifiers during the winter months, when the mineral deposit on two heated mist units became impossible to clean in December 2021, I decided to try a "cool mist, ultrasonic humidifier. I selected the Holmes HM295TG humidifier - primarily on its small, unobtrusive size and stylish design. Over the past 4 months I've used one of these 24/7 in the bedroom and home office. The unit requires refilling 2x a day, morning and evening (running on low power). In the time period I've had the units they have only required cleaning once - which was a breeze. Much, much different than the heated mist humidifiers where were a major pain ! Living in Houston means we don't need to add humidity to the residence during most of the year. My two Holmes units are now cleaned awaiting December 2022 ! Highly satisfied with purchase !

Here are some tips and steps you may use to try to rectify the issue you have encountered with your humidifier. Please follow the instructions below for the troubleshooting:
1. Once the tank is empty, the RED Indicator Light will flash 10 times indicating that the humidifier is in low water level condition. Unplug the unit. 2. Before refilling the tank, empty any residual water from the base and tank. Follow daily maintenance instructions. 3. Follow the FILLING WATER TANK instructions to fill tank, and then operate the humidifier normally. NOTE: DO NOT move the humidifier with water in the tank or the humidifier base. The moving action of the water may activate the water tank’s release nozzle and overfill the transducer cavity. This may cause the humidifier to function intermittently, or stop emitting mist. Should this occur, simply remove the excess water from the humidifier base.

Bought this humidifier yesterday and completely leaked all over my laminate floor. Checked the entire system and can’t not figure out why there is a hole that runs down to the bottom of the unit. Immediately after I turn the system on, it puts out. Waste of money - buy another brand!
