[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this Oster® 2-Slice Toaster. Its small enough to not take up a lot of counter space, but yet big enough to toast bagels or Texas Toast to perfection. It has 4 pre-set buttons for Toast, Bagel, Frozen and Warm, and also has 7 lightness/darkness options to chose from. You can't go wrong with this Oster toaster.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks great, but poor quality

I bought this a while ago. I like to rustic retro look. Does it toast? Of course, it does. Is it a working toaster? Only if you don't have kids without kitchen etiquette. But even if you don't have kids without kitchen etiquette. Some tools will come in handy to repair the very thin and light metal which holds whatever you are toasting. As you know bagels come in many sizes, so don't force them down into the toaster. Well not this one toaster.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice features but oh so finicky

I actually received this as a replacement unit from Oster awhile back. Mine is chrome & Grey. I have not had issues with it not working or breaking parts. Though I am single and no kids.
I enjoy the features as I use it for toast, bagels and waffles.
I have not used the bottom button for warming.
If I toast sliced bread I have to set it at a low setting and see if I need to put the toast in again. It is a hit n miss kinda thing. Same with bagels and waffles. No one setting works for everything and do not seem to work consistently from one batch to another of the same item.
I am not aware of its cost, as I said before, a replacement unit.
I will use it until it dies or a cat knocks it on the floor..

Love it, Works well, easy to adjust, space saver

I've had mine over 12 years (in purple from the jelly bean series, sadly discontinued)
6 friends and family have bought them as well.
When jellybean colors were discontinued I bought the last one any of our local Walmarts had in stock so I would have it for a replacement when this one would give out - it hasn't, it still works great!
But my sons newer more expensive toaster gave out, guess who got my red toaster jellybean toaster.
Please bring back the jellybean colors of this toaster

Great Entry Level Toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was skeptical about the buttons and how long they would last but after taking it out of the box they were more durable than what I thought. If you are a person that likes things perfect this is not for you. It had visual blemishes right out of the box. Also the know you adjust for the heat setting looks a little cheap and is a little hard to see which number you have it set on. Other than that, like I said it is a great entry level toaster that I am happy with. It looks better and has more features than my last toaster. *I did receive this product for a sample to review*

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oster 2 slice toaster in red is an excellent product. It features settings for toast, frozen, bagels and warm. There is also a knob on the side to set how dark you like your toast; and a cancel button to cease operation if need be.The handle for lowering the bread is on the same side as the knob and type of bread buttons. Operation is simple and quick for toasting on the halfway setting, and the toast came out evenly browned. It has a sleek, modern design and the quality is good. It would fit any modern or even retro decor. The cord is around 2 feet, which is adequate for countertop use. So far I am very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it. *I received this item for free in a product test*

Cool color great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thumbs up to this toaster. I love the style and metallic like red color great fit to my red decor kitchen. Great features such as a frozen bottom that works well on frozen bagels and breads gives them a fresh bake taste. There's also a warmer button for times when you just want your breads warmed and not toasted. My only complaint is the darkness of toast. The darkness selector is from 1-7, Choosing 4 gave me a very dark toast on one side and the perfect darkness on the other side of the same slice. I received this product as a sample to review. Overall it's a great toaster.
