[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say that I am truly disappointed about this item. I was very excited to receive it but after using not so much. It blends/mixes just fine however, it is the cleaning that I take issue with. First the positives. It is a lightweight item not heavy easy to move from place to place. The reversing blade is a very cool item to have. That is a first for me. The cut outs on the base that make it easier for it to be removed is a plus. Now when cleaning, is where I have the issue. It is not as easy as it seems and will ultimately want to use this less and less. The food gets stuck under the gasket and does not come clean if you put water and a drop of soap inside the unit. For some reason the blade assembly doesn't feel like it is going on very tight and in time I'm afraid it will start to strip and it won't be able to be used at all
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Oster Pro Series Kitchen System after my last blender cracked. This blender has worked well. We have used it to make iced drinks and it is powerful and effective. With its added tools, I used it to shred some vegetables for a salad and it did its job! Clean up was pretty easy too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this set is a good value for what you get - but don't expect it to replace the high end appliances in your kitchen. that said, I needed something for occasional use at my in laws beach house and this does the trick perfectly

I do make a lot of smoothies and ice drinks so this works great for that as well. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who does a lot of cooking and smoothie drinks.

Nice blender and food processor combo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Oster Pro Series System is a great blender-and-food-processor combo. The 1000 Watts of power chopped up dates for my Raw Brownie Bites, which is a pretty big challenge for a blender. I like how the blade is removable in case I ever need to replace it like I have on my old blender. I miss having a glass pitcher, but hopefully the plastic one will last. At first I didn't realize that you have to hold the power button for 1 second to turn it on/off, so be aware of that. The food processor also works nicely. It was so much easier to make salsa than chopping by hand! The "salsa" button does repeated pulsing for you, or you can use the "pulse" button. It's a nice system that I will enjoy having in my kitchen.

Precise and easy to use blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cook every single day and rely heavily on a blender to make the process easier. I have been really enjoying the Oster Pro blender, and actually love the food processor! The blender is very large, it holds 9 cups and the blade is extremely sharp - it gets the job done very fast. The sharp blades really help with a smooth precise blend. I love that it has different modes and levels, the milkshake will have more of a smooth consistency, while the salsa will have a more rugid consistency for texture. The food processor is absolutely fabulous! I love to shred vegetables and have even made a compound butter for steak, works beautifully. I've been using the blender and food processor daily for about a month and the consistency of this product is very reliable with quality made parts. Highly recommend for beginners to pros!

I can make sauces, smoothies, prepare veggies, etc. I absolutely love it. And, I can tell that it is a high quality kitchen accessory! I love the touchscreen controls. I would recommend this kitchen system to anyone looking for something to make their kitchen jobs easier and quicker.

I love the touchscreens with the different features like smoothie, auto clean, salsa etc. Plus the added attachments and features for the food processor makes it even more awesome and definitely upgrades it than just your ordinary blender.
