Well made product, love the preprogrammed features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wondered if I needed this blender as I already have a blender. I am so glade that I went ahead and got it. It’s not your typical blender! First of all, it’s build well with solid glass jar and metal parts. The blades cut through ice like it was nothing. It’s also lightweight and fairly small in diameter for easier lifting and storing. Cleanup is easier too because the buttons are soft touch, smooth surface buttons instead of the buttons that stick out and are hard to push in and get spills and drips down in them. As for performance, that’s where I was really sold. As soon as I got it I had to make slushees for my family as that’s a favorite for us. It’s just snow cone syrup and ice blended to a smooth texture. Our regular blender always leaves large ice chunks behind and is a little crunchier, this made a perfect smooth consistency. At first I put the ice in and then the liquid and it seemed to work the machine a bit. I found out later that it is designed to have the liquid in first and then the solid ingredients last. It worked much better this way. My favorite feature was the preprogrammed buttons. One is for smoothies (which I used for our slushees) and the other is a salsa setting. I made salsa the following day. Between those two things, I’m sold! It takes all the guess work out of needing to pulsate the mix. I even made the salsa while on the phone doing business because it required so much less concentration. I just cut and cored the peppers and tomatoes, sliced onions, and threw all the ingredients in (liquids first) and the salsa setting took care of the rest. The salsa didn’t have any large chunks, if you like it that way, but it wasn’t frothy or too runny like mine usually is when I use a blender. It’s a perfect restating style consistency. I can’t wait to try the pesto recipe on the box next!

It’s the new design with auto programming durable and dependable as all Oster products are. It’s a 6 cup glass jar with 800 watts and the 2 auto programs. I’ve alway’s owned Oster because of it’s quality items they are the best! I can make my smoothies or salsas all in one and the end result is alway’s perfect. Definitely a must buy!

Excellent blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Happy to try this blender as my old one needed an update! Love the image and the color it blended super fast and chopped super quick too. I did not like the lid that much I preferred another type of lod but this one will work it’s super powerful and worth the money!

Blends and crushes with ease

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender lives up to it's name. It has no trouble blending through soft or hard foods. Crushed ice with ease and blends up soft foods as well. I love the two different auto programs it comes with and I'm sure I will be using it till it dies.

We've been making smoothies in the morning for breakfast for afternoon snacks and for after sports practices. The products is just the right size, doesn't take up much space. The functions are simple yet easy to use. I highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a new blender with more features and this one looked great. My son is addicted to smoothies in the mornings because he’s rather drink then eat and I can’t have him going to school with just hot cocoa in his system. I love the glass pitcher and how it keeps everything cold. Makes salsa a breeze as well which makes my husband happy. The price point is also a positive note. For the quality I’d expect to pay much more. So if you need a new blender grab this one.
