Great Idea for a steam Iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this Black and Decker Steam Cord Reel Iron, and were excited to try it. We had a hard time pulling the cord out, Got kind of frustrating and finally time to start our steaming. We needed an extension cord to reach. oops. Cord wasnt long enough. We started steaming/ironing and it works great. This is a great product but needs some work on the cord. When we went to put away, the cord would not go all the way back in. Maybe this was a fluke one that didnt work, hope it gets fixed as its an awesome idea to hide the cord away.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love This IRON!!!!

That being said I thought to myself, "all irons were the same what could make any one more special?" Well I found out! I had recently dropped my last iron which is why I was excited to get this one.
I am impressed on the size and steam power of this iron. You can hear it, see it and definitely enjoy how fast those wrinkles just seem to melt right out. My boys shirts always come out so wrinkled from the wash and I iron them right away. The shirt in my photos is one that is difficult to keep nice and flat. I used the steam and in no time it was done!
I love that it has auto shut off after a few seconds when it's not in use. It does start right back up once you start moving it around in an ironing motion so not to waste any time. It was easy to add and empty the iron of water. Plus there is a cleaning feature so you don't risk getting it all clogged. Then to avoid that annoying cord it reels up!
Tip: When I first opened it I forgot to remove the plastic on the bottom of the iron. Don't forget to remove it before you plug in your iron because it turns on the moment you plug it in.

Works well to iron

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron works well, but I wasn’t impressed with the cord reel. I couldn’t get the cord to completely retract after I finished ironing. Annoying with my desire to keep from needing to wrap the cord around the iron. As far as an iron goes, this one does its job nicely and is a great no-frills iron.
I did get this iron as part of a review program, the above is based solely on my personal experience with this iron.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my new steam cord iron for about 2 weeks now . I am really loving the reel in cord. This iron is very nice I like that the dial to choose your selections is under the handle. It’s nice to have the selections labeled on the side of the iron . This iron heats up quickly and also cools down in a timely manner. Having a retractable cord is really nice I would say it’s my favorite feature . It’s very easy to store this iron when not using it. Very nice product I am fully satisfied with it. I think it will last years it seems to be very durable and high quality.

Comfortable to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my iron constantly for sewing projects so I need an iron that works well on a variety of fabrics. This iron heats very quickly and has worked well on all the fabrics I have used it on. The iron is much lighter than other irons I have used, thus more comfortable and less tiring when using for long periods. Storage is simpler as the cord reels up at the touch of a button and stores inside the iron. The iron has all the features you would expect on a quality iron, and all are easy and comfortable to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this iron 3 weeks ago. There's a lot of things I like about it, but my favorite part is soleplate. It's made of stainless steel, and no clothes stick to it. Plus the irons steam comes from the evensteam soleplate, so when your ironing, the steam comes out evenly. The iron has an automatic shut off, and doesn't drip any water. The handle is designed to fit easily and comfortably in your hand. All and all I really like this iron very much, and would highly reccomend it.
