Made a smoothie immediately!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first day I had this, I cut up some some fruit, put some yogurt. Milk and ice and blended it together. It made it up within 3 minutes time. Wasn't too loud like the old ones use to be and blended it just right. I have a surgery coming up and will have to be on an all liquid diet and I am interested to to cut up and blend all my meats.

Great Blender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice blender. It is straight and to the point without a bunch of bells and whistles, which is a good thing. Sometimes items that have too many options etc are just a pain. I like the size of it. It chops ice with ease and is perfect for making my smoothies. It is easy to clean and to store when not in use!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good motor and blade, but broke after 60 days

Bought this 2 months ago and have had good luck with Oster products in the past. This blender is a frequent smoothie maker for me and for the price point, it's performed well.
Its primarily plastic and have to make sure everything is snug or the base leaks, but I don't mind taking a little extra care. Unfortunately, the filler cap at the top is not a good fit and actually dropped into my mix this week..and got chopped up a bit, making it useless..the warranty dept was closed so I called to order a new one only to find parts are farmed out to a third party, whose website was no help..So a bit disappointed but will try again next week.

Good for Liquids Only

I bought the previous model a few years ago which has the same blade set up. Unless you plan on using for liquids only, don't buy it. This blender flings all foods off the blades so forget about making pestos or salsas even though the product says it can. The food will not get enough contact with the blades to do any kind of chopping. Extremely disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wow what a great blender ,it really does the job , when it rip the ice up number #1plus ,,,,,i love it ,, it made my day or was it night , anyway it works great ...... try it you'll love it .
