Takes forever and doesn’t crisp

I bought this tonight to make different style of chicken for Super Bowl Sunday. We are already in the second half and the first batch of wings are still not finished. People are hungry so we just cooked the other batches in the oven at the same 425 temp for about the same disappointing results. I so wanted this to work but going back to the store tomorrow. Can’t imagine what this will do to gator tots. Oh - and where are the attachments??

So I bought this because I use the ninja version at work and I was excited about the spinning basket. I was very disappointed the first time I used it the basket turned the tater tots I was making into mush. It did not come with the rack so I don't know how else to make them. I think I will return it and by a different one.

This air fryer technology is a must have for those who like fried foods but want to eat healthier. I can and have made a whole chicken in this air fryer and it tastes amazing. You can make so many different foods without all the extra fat. The possibilities are endless. I've used my twist n crisp to make many healthier meals for my family.

Easy to Use & Easy to Clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to be able to try out the George Foreman® Twist 'N Crisp Air Fryer. Unpacking, cleaning and assembly for first use was very easy, as was actually using it. It's as easy to use as your oven and has all the benefits of frying, though it takes out the worst part of frying - which is the extra grease and fat! I think what was probably the most exciting feature of this air fryer for me was what most other air fryers are lacking, which is the rotating basket. With other air fryers, if you don't stick around and shake the basket ever so often, you're going to have unevenly cooked fries (or other foods). The George Foreman® Twist 'N Crisp Air Fryer rotating basket takes that chore out completely. Cooking time is obviously a little longer than normal frying but shorter than most oven cooking - it also takes up less space than an oven and doesn't heat the entire kitchen up when it's on like your oven does. Taking the parts out to clean is a breeze as well. As with other air fryers, there seems to be additional accessories that you can buy for your other baking/frying needs - but I think what comes with this product is more than enough for a majority of your cooking on its own. Overall, this seems like a great product to have on hand to help cook sides, or even to keep in a smaller living space that may not have an oven. I cannot say enough good things about the George Foreman® Twist 'N Crisp Air Fryer!

AMAZING

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t too sure how this would work and my biggest fear was undercooked meat. Boy was I wrong!! We made chicken breast in less than 30 minutes and they were fully cooked, juicy, tender and so delicious...the best part no nasty fats, or grease on them. My whole family loved it and we’re currently looking into additional attachments to make the recipes that are included in the box. This is incredibly easy to use and clean and it’s perfect for a busy mom as most meats are ready in under an hour, but the best part everything you make will be healthy. Read through the instruction manual and recipe book and you’ll be set to go. You press a few buttons and start and you’re ready to start cooking. Use the exact time recommended for cooking if you want your meats juicy, unless you prefer them over cooking them. The airfryer settings are incredibly accurate and will not under or overcook unless you specifically want your food done differently. It definitely beats using the oven. We’re excited to make our Thanksgiving ham in it this year. Oh and you can also make air fried “hard” boiled eggs at 270 for 16 minutes...no water, no preheat at all and they come out perfect. We’re obsessed!!

Crisp and Easy to Clean but Lacking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to test out the George Forman Twist N' Crisp Premium Air Fryer. I sat down and read the manual to make sure I didn't set my house on fire and so I knew exactly what to set up correctly. After unboxing, I cleaned the removable pieces and was ready to air fry away! Unfortunately you will need to buy additional pieces for a lot of the air frying, grilling and baking you intend to do unless you are solely going to use the baking rack, air frying drum or bowl by itself. That was disappointing because you will have to track all of the additional pieces down if you want to make rotisserie a chicken or kabobs!
The air frying and set up was simple. I like that there are 2 latches on top of the drum to secure the food in place as the drum is rotating. There are small knobs that fit in place on both sides along with the larger driver shaft in the back. Changing the temperature and what feature you are going to use was simple with the icons that would illuminate. We decided to try out cheese curds first. We used a little less time than the fry setting and they came out great. I like the drum because it fried them evenly which was nice. I did have to stop the machine once to look at the food because it was hard to see inside from the side panels. The steam/air does come out of the back so you need to make sure you have enough clearance because it can get rather hot. I wouldn't recommend this on a small counter space. When opening the machine ,which is easy to do with a push of a button, make sure you also make space to take out the drum with pot holders. I would say that is another reason why I didn't give more stars. Unlike common other air fryers there is no handle to pull the food out right away. It makes sense because of the nice rotating factor but can be cumbersome depending on what you are making.
Overall I liked it but didn't love it. I think if it came with more I would give it more stars. Cleaning was easy with a quick swipe of a damp dish cloth and dish soap. You can use a dishwasher on the removable parts but we prefer to do things by hand. I think if you want to still fry something or even bake or grill with less oil than this would be good for you. You would have to know though, that yes it is easy to use if you have the time, right accessories and patience. This isn't as quick as regular frying but you help your heart with less grease so it's a matter of what you see as a win-win.
